Silicone Greases and Compounds |

By combining silicone-lubricating fluids with various thickeners, grease and grease-like compounds with unique physical properties and performance characteristics are created. Novagard Silicone Compounds
Extremely versatile products, these compounds offer benefits in a variety of applications. Novagard uses only non-reactive polysiloxane fluids and inorganic fillers to produce very stable, chemically inert, silicone compounds with outstanding physical properties. Choose Novagard silicone compounds for lubrication of plastic and rubber parts, to provide a moisture barrier or seal with good dielectric properties, as a non-corrosive protective coating for high-voltage insulators, or as a heat transfer agent. Each compound will offer specific performance advantages. While more than one product may function in your application, full examination of your specific operation and specifications will usually determine which product is best for you.
Novagard Versilube® Greases
For lubrication of metal to metal and select plastic and rubber parts consider the Versilube® line of greases. These lithium soap-thickened, silicone lubricants meet the requirements of high performance bearings, gears and other mechanisms under sliding and rolling friction conditions. Formulated with two distinctly different silicone base fluids (i.e., methyl-phenyl and methyl-alkyl) each Versilube® product offers unique performance advantages. Generally, methyl-phenyl base fluids provide the widest possible operating temperature range, while the methyl-alkyl base fluids impart better lubricity and higher load carrying capabilities. Versilube® products are excellent lubricants where hardened steel meets hardened steel, where hardened steel meets bronze, where steel meets aluminum, and where aluminum meets aluminum.
